anyone have any experience with those yet? I tried to activate nix.package.nixUnstable but nixos-rebuild just crashes with a malloc violation. is it expected to be that unstable?

what NixOS version are you using? or which channel of nixpkgs that you have?
so far I've only tried current unstable
Strange, I just download nixUnstable under nixpkgs-unstable and it works fine. I'm not familiar with Nix itself though.
