Enjoyed it at the time but didn't get through it

The Pinter book is _awesome_, one of my favorite pieces of mathematics writing.
I find Aluffi to be an interesting read if you have some background knowledge in both CT and algebra to begin with, but it would be a pretty intense introduction to both
