I wish we could retroactively 'group' convos in a topic. For example this discussion around type famillies could have been grouped in a topic of its own (whilst it still remains in the main #Haskell stream)

Oh very nice. That makes Zulip a worthy candidate. People start by interactive chat, and we 'evolve' it to be forum-like.
BUT ... only the message owner can do this (edit and assign a new topic)
